目の前に存在しない”誰かの想い”が見える青年・未山。その不思議な力で身体の不調に悩む人や、トラウマを抱えた人を癒やし、周囲と寄り添いながら、恋人で看護師の詩織とその娘・美々と静かに暮らしていた。
そんな彼はある日、自らの”隣”に謎の男が見え始める。これまで体感してきたものとは異質なその想いをたどり、遠く離れた東京に行きついた未山。その男は、未山に対して抱えていた特別な感情を明かし、更には元恋人・莉子との間に起きた”ある事件”の顛末を語る。 未山は彼を介し、その事件以来一度も会うことがなかった莉子と再会。自らが”置き去りにしてきた過去”と向き合うことになる…。
やがて紐解かれていく、未山の秘密。彼は一体、どこから来た何者なのかー?

【解説】
行定勲監督が企画・プロデュースを手がけ、『世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ』などでタッグを組んできた伊藤ちひろが自らのオリジナル脚本で挑んだ人間ドラマ。
“誰かの想い”が見える未山（坂口健太郎）は、その不思議な能力で人々の心身を癒しながら、恋人で看護師の詩織（市川実日子）とその娘・美々（磯村アメリ）と静かに暮らしていた。ある時、自らの“隣”に謎の男が見え始めた未山は、その想いをたどり、東京でミュージシャンとして活躍する男に行き着く。

[ Story ]
A human drama conceived and produced by director Yukisada Isao, with an original screenplay by Ito Chihiro, who has worked with him on films such as Crying Out Love, in the Center of the World.
Miyama (Sakaguchi Kentaro), who can see “other people’s thoughts”, lives a quiet life with his girlfriend Shiori (Ichikawa Mikako), a nurse, and her daughter Bibi (Isomura Ameri), while using his mysterious ability to heal people’s minds and bodies. One day, Miyama begins to see a mysterious man “next” to himself, and follows his thoughts to a man who is active as a musician in Tokyo.
