75歳の老婦人の雪は、ふと訪れた書店で表紙の絵柄が気に入り、1冊のコミックを手に取る。その内容は二人の男子高校生を主人公にしたボーイズラブ（BL）作品であった。雪はBLにハマり、これがきっかけで書店アルバイトの高校生、うららと漫画について語り合ったり同人誌即売会に出かけたり、共通の「好きなもの」を通じて交流を深めていく。

【解説】
鶴谷香央理の同名コミックを、数々の名作TVドラマで知られる岡田惠和の脚本で映画化。BL漫画で知り合った年の差58歳の女性同士による友情を温かく描き出す。
人付き合いが苦手な17歳の女子高生・佐山うらら（芦田愛菜）と、夫に先立たれた75歳の市野井雪（宮本信子）。ある日、本屋でバイト中のうららの前に、一冊のBL漫画を手に取った雪が現れる。やがて互いに好きなBL漫画の話題で意気投合したふたりは友情を育んでいく。

Ichinoi, a 75-year-old woman living a peaceful life, unwittingly buys a Boy’s Love manga one day…and is fascinated by what she finds inside. When she returns to the bookstore to buy the next volume, the high school girl working there–Urara, a seasoned BL fan–notices a budding fangirl when she sees one. When Urara offers to help Ichinoi explore this whole new world of fiction, the two dive into BL fandom together, and form an unlikely friendship along the way.

Feature film adaptation of Tsurutani Kaori’s same-named comic with a script by Okada Yoshikazu, renowned for his many successful TV dramas. Warmly depicts the friendship between two women fifty-eight years apart who meet through boys’ love manga.
Sayama Urara (Ashida Mana) is a socially awkward 17-year-old high school girl, and Ichinoi Yuki (Miyamoto Nobuko) is a 75-year-old widow. One day Yuki goes to buy a boys’ love manga at the bookshop where Urara works. Their friendship blossoms through their shared interest in boys’ love manga.
