解説・あらすじ
太宰治の小説「ヴィヨンの妻」を、「雪に願うこと」の根岸吉太郎監督が映画化し、第33回モントリオール世界映画祭で監督賞を受賞した人間ドラマ。人気作家として世間から注目されるも、生きることに苦しみ酒や女に溺れる大谷と、そんな彼が酒代を踏み倒した小料理屋で働き、放蕩を続ける夫を愛し続ける妻・佐知の姿を描く。主演は松たか子、浅野忠信。共演に広末涼子、妻夫木聡、堤真一ら豪華キャストが揃う。
