【解説】
『ドライブ・マイ・カー』がカンヌ映画祭ほかで注目を集めた濱口竜介による短編集。“偶然”をテーマにした3つの物語が織りなされる。第71回ベルリン国際映画祭で銀熊賞に輝いた。
モデルの芽衣子（古川琴音）は、撮影帰りのタクシーで仲の良いつぐみ（玄理）から最近会った気になる男性（中島歩）との惚気話を聞かされる。つぐみが先に下車し、ひとり車内に残った芽衣子が運転手に告げた行き先とは…？（第1話『魔法（よりもっと不確か）』）

[ Story ]
Hamaguchi Ryusuke, who drew attention in Cannes and other film festivals with Drive My Car, directs this short film anthology. Three stories are woven around the theme of “coincidence”. It won the Silver Bear Award at the 71st Berlin International Film Festival.
While returning from a photo shoot, model Meiko (Furukawa Kotone) shares a taxi with her good friend Tsugumi (Hyunri) and listens to her story about a guy (Nakajima Ayumu) she’s met recently who’s caught her interest. After Tsugumi is dropped off first, Meiko tells the driver to head to a certain destination. (The first chapter, “Magic (or Something Less Assuring)”)
