【解説】
柚月裕子の小説を原作に、警察や暴力団組織による壮絶なバトルロイヤルを描くシリーズ第2弾。白石和彌監督が続投し、前作から3年後の物語が完全オリジナルストーリーとして展開する。
暴力団の抗争に巻き込まれて殺された大上の後を継ぎ、広島の裏社会を治める刑事・日岡（松坂桃李）。しかし、上林組組長・上林成浩（鈴木亮平）が出所し、その危うい秩序が崩壊へ。悪魔のような上林の存在によって、日岡は窮地に追い込まれる。

[ Story ]
Second film based on Yuzuki Yuko’s novel about an epic battle royal between yakuza and police. Director Shiraishi Kazuya returns with a completely original story that picks up three years after the last film.
Detective Hioka (Matsuzaka Tori) keeps underworld Hiroshima under control after Ogami gets killed in the yakuza conflict. However, the delicate power balance collapses when yakuza boss Uebayashi Shigehiro (Suzuki Ryohei) is released from prison. The arrival of the fiendish Uebayashi spells trouble for Hioka.
