【解説】
第123回芥川賞を受賞した松浦寿輝の同名小説を映画化。名脚本家の荒井晴彦が、『火口のふたり』に続く自身4作目の監督作品として“ピンク映画界の斜陽”という原作にはないモチーフを取り入れた愛の物語。
ピンク映画業界に生きる監督・栩谷（綾野剛）は、梅雨のある日、伊関（柄本佑）というかつて脚本家志望だった男と出会う。会話を重ねるうち、自分たちが過去に愛した女が、同じ女優の桐岡祥子（さとうほなみ）だったことに気づく。

[ Story ]
Film adaptation of the novel of the same title by Matsuura Hisaki, winner of the 123rd Akutagawa Prize. This love story by renowned screenwriter Arai Haruhiko is his fourth film as a director, following It Feels So Good, and incorporates a motif not found in the original story: the “sunset of the pink film industry”.
One day during the rainy season, Kutani (Ayano Go), a director in the pink film industry, meets a man called Iseki (Emoto Tasuku), who once aspired to being a scriptwriter. As they converse, they realize that the woman they both loved in the past was the same actress, Kirioka Shoko (Sato Honami).
